Powerful collaboration: Around 147,000 people attended the first B3/THE ARTS+ festival at Frankfurt Book Fair. They experienced a successful combination of creative media projects, cutting-edge digital art, an inspiring conference programme and an international networking event of the creative industries. Artists and cultural industry professionals from all over the world presented over 100 projects and institutions as well as works of art from the fields of video art, film, immersion, games, XR and AI. Almost 2,500 visitors attended the panel discussions and lectures of the extensive conference programme.

Prof. Bernd Kracke, President of Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach (HfG) and Artistic Director of B3, states: "B3 /THE ARTS+ has surpassed the high expectations and perfectly captured the zeitgeist with its focus on REALITIES. During the festival, Frankfurt became an international centre of important artistic visions, innovative moving image projects and socio-political debates".

The ultimate highlight was the presentation of the B3 BEN Awards and the Frankfurt Book Fair Film Awards on the evening of 19 October. Oliver Schwebel, Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt; Juergen Boos, Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair; Prof. Bernd Kracke, Artistic Director of B3; and Silvia von Metzler honoured various artists, most notably Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen with the BEN Main Prize in the category Most Influential Moving Image Artist.
