Wolf Lieser is a German gallery owner and is regarded as one of the pioneers in the field of digital art. In 1998 he founded the virtual Digital Art Museum, www.dam.org. Between 1999 and 2002 he was a partner in the Colville Place Gallery in London, the first digital art gallery in England. Since 2003 he has also been located in Berlin with a gallery of the DAM. In addition to the DAM Gallery and the virtual museum, he also established the DAM Award, which honors important artists of digital art for their life's work every two years. Wolf Lieser is also active as an author. In 2010 he published the book “Digital Art. Neue Wege in der Kunst” (“New Paths in Art”), which includes an extensive documentation of the entire spectrum of digital art from its beginnings in the 1960s to the present day.
