Ingvild Goetz

The Sammlung Goetz, comprised of about 5000 works, among them more than 500 pieces of new media art, is one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary art. Since 1993, the Sammlung has been realizing regular exhibitions from its holdings in its private museum in München Oberföhring. In 2013, it donated the building along with 375 pieces of media art to the Free State of Bavaria. The remaining 4700 works are on a ten-year permanent loan to the Pinakothek der Moderne, the Haus der Kunst, and the Neues Museum Nürnberg.
