André Bernhardt

André Bernhardt has been working in the games industry for 20 years. His career began at Sony Computer Entertainment with the release of the first PlayStation. He then worked for publishers such as JoWooD and Sunflowers before joining RTL Games. His focus was on console games for the platforms PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, etc. Later, he gathered free-to-play know-how by working for Travian Games in Munich. After three years, he started his own business as an "Indie Advisor". Since then he has supported developers in their search for a publisher - and vice versa. He teaches as a guest lecturer at Mediadesign Hochschule Berlin and FH Salzburg. In 2015 he founded Target Games with Thorsten Unger and cooperated with the Korean gamesaccelerator Global Top Round as a partner for Europe. In 2018, he also founded the expert network IndieAdvisor & Company with Unger, advising young studios.
