Michael Liebe

Michael Liebe is founder and CEO of Booster Space, the company behind the event formats gamesweekberlin (incl. QUO VADIS Conference and Gamefest), VR NOW Con & Awards, Womenize! and Game Cinema as well as the VR game DUEL VR. Since February 2016 Michael is working for Kickstarter as Games Outreach Europe. From 2010 to 2013 he was responsible for new media in the location marketing division of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. At the University of Potsdam, Michael Liebe co-founded the Digital Games Research Center (DIGAREC) and was project manager of the local computer games collection and board member of the non-profit association for the support of computer games research, gamology e.V. In 2007 he founded the computer games festival A MAZE. together with Thorsten S. Wiedemann, but has not been active there since 2010. Since graduating as Master of Arts in Media Science, Michael Liebe has worked as a regular freelance journalist and lecturer on the topics of game development and culture.
