An explorer is seen telling his anthropologist friend about a ritual he undertook with a previously uncontacted group in the jungle, granting him immortality. The friend does not believe him. The scene concludes with the explorer demonstrating his inability to die, and then seamlessly loops back to the beginning. Like the endlessly repeating film, the explorer is frozen in a loop outside real time due to his immortal status.
